WHO WE ARE

Our family was overjoyed when a local rescue posted a short video and picture of an abandoned German Shepard in need of a loving home.  The day we brought Aurora home was such memorable day for our family.

Adopting a rescue dog definitely has it challenges.  Our Aurora had separation anxiety and was initially timid around other dogs.  We planned vacations around when friends and family members could stay with Aurora in our house, as the larger boarding and kenneling facilities were just not the right fit for her personality.

We would return the favor by watching our friend's and family's doggies, who had similar experiences with being unable to find the right fit for doggie daycare and overnight boarding.  Soon, the word spread to other neighbors in our subdivision and our small business began.  Years later, we moved from the subdivision to a farm with ample fenced, safe outdoor space for our guests to enjoy all year round.  We will provide your doggie with an intimate, caring home environment.  Come visit us at Sugar Maple Farm K9!
